Per Devil Miyu's request:

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, "Devil Miyu" will be giving out dandelions, later today from 3pm to 6pm (US Mountain Time / GMT-07:00) at Erato Station which is located at Malachite and 25th and its surrounding areas.


OUT OF CHARACTER NOTICE:
Miyu won't around to do this due to a medical emergency. However, at her request, I will be logging in as "Devil Miyu" to get this done for her. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this event, feel free to message me here via lj-mail or ask her in-game sire, "JanusDP". This lj-post will be updated as soon as I have a list of names of people who received dandelions from Miyu's vampire character.

UPDATE: Per Devil Miyu's request, she wants everyone to know that there is nothing wrong with the game. The green overlay is RavenBlack's and Devil Miyu's "trick" for St. Patrick's Day. It was to make everything "green". The following, however, is St. Patrick's Day, semi roleplay style....



HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY
From RavenBlack and Devil Miyu!!!

RavenBlack cranked up the industrial size fog machine, within minutes the entire city was engulfed in a strange green foggy haze. Meanwhile, Devil Miyu stood by the transit entrance at the south-west corner of Malachite and 25th street. Her long, wavy, jet-black hair flowed freely beneath the dark green headband that encircled her forehead and was adorned with tiny, fragrant, white jasmine flowers. She seemed happy as she greeted the passersby with a hello, a small bouquet of dandelions and a sweet smile. Her face was whimsically painted. On one cheek, a white peace sign while the other cheek had a small 3-leaf clover painted on it. She looked more like a 60s flower-child hippie than a gyspsy. Every so often, she'd pick up her tambourine and play it as she swayed and moved her hips along with the beat. She'd hum softly to herself while she twirled and danced. Then, she'd stop and once again to hand out bouquets of dandelion flowers. This went on and on for hours until she got bored of staying in that one particular spot so she decided to ride the transits and get off at every single stop to give out her bouquet of dandelion flowers. Then, just as the green hazy fog started to dissipate, she began to repeatedly displace herself, disposing the flowers as quickly as she could each time the city reformed around her when her vision cleared until there weren't any bouquets of dandelion flowers left to give out.

Her friend muttered something about information and resources facilities prior to quickly scribbling something down on a piece of paper then handing it to her. He said,"I don't know how accurate this is."

Devil Miyu read the address, took out a scroll of teleportation, read it and vanished then appeared at Reversi Pawn shop. She nervously walked in, glanced around, noting that the shop was empty. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a shiny ring and a necklace. With trembling hands and knees she approached the shopkeeper. "Here, take it before I change my mind." She placed a ring and a necklace on the counter and wiped off her tears. The shopkeeper quickly, palmed the items then placed a bag of coins by the register. He says without looking up, "You sell 1 for a total of 50000." He reached down and grabbed another bag of coins, placing them next to the first bag then says, "You sell 1 for a total of 25000."

Barely a whisper, Devil Miyu breathed out, "Thanks..." as she fought back tears. She pocketed the coins, took out another scroll of teleportatin, read it and then vanished. Electricity flowed briefly in her veins, and her vision became clouded... When her vision cleared, she was at Walrus and 40th...

Devil Miyu stepped in The Hall of Severance. She took a deep breath, held it for a few seconds, then exhaled. A few more steps, her entire body began to shake as memories began flashing through her mind. She bit her lower lip trying hard not to cry. She closed her eyes tightly, thought hard and sent out a thought to her friend. "Here goes nothing..."

It was almost as if he was standing there next to her. A thought quickly invaded her mind. Her friend had sent her a telepathic message. Two words. Just two words: "Engage chaos."

She stepped forward and read the sign up on the wall:
"Welcome to the Hall of Severance.
Here you can sever your ties to your parent vampire, at a cost of 50000 coins and 1000 blood.
Here you can sever your ties to your childer, absolutely free.
Or... you can be severed from your partner, RavenBlack. That would cost you 25000 coins, and does not require the participation of RavenBlack."

She knew she had 50,000 coins in one bag and 25,000 coins in another. She thought long and hard, weighing out the consequences whilst visions of events from long ago clouded her judgement. She quickly shook her head to dismiss them. She made one last decision as she stepped up to pay for the services. "Please, make this quick and painless," she pleaded. The gentleman behind the counter grinned at her, almost as if he was enjoying seeing her struggle with her thoughts and emotions. "Which service would you like us to perform?"

Devil Miyu placed both bags before him. "Both. Please..."

But as he turned around to start the severance, Devil Miyu quickly grabbed the other bag. "No! Wait... please, just the one."

The gentleman's eyes narrowed as he arched a thin brow. "Oh really now? Just the one, huh?"

Devil Miyu nodded. "Yes please, and make it quick."

"Very well then," he sneered at her as her performed the severance ritual.

The gentleman stepped out from the backroom and announced to Devil Miyu, "Your link to your sire, RavenBlack, has been severed. Thank you." And with that he waved his hand at her as if to shoo her away. Devil Miyu sobbed as she ran out of the Hall of Severance and quickly returned to her friend's side.

She sat there quietly, next to him for a few minutes. He turned to her, his face expressionless, almost stoic, and asked her, "Going to stay partner bound?"

Devil Miyu wiped her tears and mumbled, "might not..." She had already made a decision, but something made her change her mind. Now, in silence, she revisited that decision and pondered about what and why. She shoved her hands in her pockets. Suddenly she realized, she still has that one bag of coins, exact amount for the other service..."

My apologies to everyone who were waiting for candy canes to be passed out. I was gone all day due to a personal/medical emergency. I just barely got back home today (@2:53am). I will resume giving out candy canes today at Fear and 4th, Gloom and 1st and at Ennui and 1st (and their surrounding areas) and will extend giving them out until Monday evening, the 19th of December.

Hello everyone. I've been getting a few inquiries regarding the Candy Cane Ball for this year. I have decided that this weekend December 16th to the 18th, I will be giving out Candy Canes (and maybe other things too) IN and AROUND the following locations:

The Cloister of Secrets
- located at Gloom and 1st

The Sanguinarium
- located at Fear and 4th

The Sepulchre of Shadows
- located at Ennui and 1st

If the locations are crowded, please refrain from using scrolls, there are 8 other squares surrounding each location, pick one. Everyone this year gets 3 candy canes each. If you are going to be there, let me know who you are so I can add you to a list of Candy Cane recipients. You can do that by commenting on this post. I would need your vampire character's name, please. Giveaway times are sporadic as I've other obligations to tend to this weekend. There won't be any roleplaying forum board thingie active for this. Hello. My name is Devil Miyu, I own this place but I've not been on here in ages and for that I apologise. Also, I am RavenBlack's wife . (not really, but we're talking about stuff in the game) I'm also the woman in charge of answering all email inquiries sent to RavenBlack.

For Ha-zaa D'bosthabos and for Halloween this year, I've decided to forego the quizzes and contests and such.
